Along with family, education, and career, Bill has long focused on building a stronger community in Southern Nevada.  Whether assisting students at UNLV’s Boyd School of Law or seniors living in public housing, Bill has leveraged his legal background and life experiences to give something back to the people of Las Vegas.


Bill mentored students at the Boyd School of Law as part of the Juvenile Justice Clinic.  Bill participated as board member of the UNLV Boyd School of Law clinical programs for five years.  All five of Bill’s judicial law clerks were graduates of the UNLV Boyd School of Law.  He has also served as a volunteer judge for local high school mock trial programs.
